WIWW: Movie Night

I have always been a little perplexed by what I see some girl wears to the movies. I just don't understand why it is necessary to wear 5 inch heels and mini dresses to a movie theater - you are sitting in the dark for approx. 2 hours....

I am the exact opposite. I like to be as comfortable as possible. Here is a quick snapshot of an outfit you might see me in at the theater. 

Nothing is here is what I actually own but it is pretty much what I will wear. 

I have a pair of fleece lined legging/sweatpants from Roots. Seriously worth every penny. They are the most comfortable pair of pants I have and even though they are sweatpants, they look like leggings. 

I might wear either a pair of moccasins from Forever 21 or just a pair of boots. I like to take my shoes off during the movie and cross my legs - it's all about comfort for me! lol 

And then some kind of over sized chunky sweater with a tank top underneath. The particular sweater I have is from Garage and I love it because it is really comfortable and not itchy or anything. I despise itchy clothes.

So that is what I will typically wear to the movie - sometimes I just go straight for the PJ pants but that is only if it is a really late movie....

2014 Spring Fashion Trend

Since I worked all last week, I didn't really do much else. Therefor, I didn't have any outfits on besides my uniform and pj's. So today, I am going to be sharing some outfits from my favourite Spring trend this year!

This outfit is definitely filed under the "comfy" category. I absolutely love this sweater. 

I also really love these sweatpants. I know what you are thinking... Lauren.. those are leggings but they are indeed sweatpants! Such a beautiful thing when you can wear sweats that give the impression that they are leggings.

Well hello there! I am changed "Fashion Friday" into a what I wore Wednesday type deal. I find this more fitting because I am no fashionista over here and I will never claim to be! So anyway, here is an outfit I wore out for a dinner date.

Now as I have written this, I just realized my entire outfit minus the boots is from Dynamite. Can you tell where I shop?

Holiday Dress Roundup

December = Christmas which also = holiday parties!

I have done a roundup of some of my favourite holiday dresses from some popular (and inexpensive) stores!

This dress is from Dynamite and I have to say it is a little bit more expensive than their usual stuff but it is really gorgeous!

Guess has some extremely cute options as well and the ones that I love the best are not even the most expensive ones (which is a first for me)

And I have to say that Forever 21 wins in the most cute options! 

Oh my... how must we choose :( 

I am heading to my own holiday party with my work this weekend so I am pretty excited to get all dazzled up! I am going to be going out to try on all these dresses and see if I like any and when I do my weekly update you will get to see what I came out with :)
