Holiday Dress Roundup

December = Christmas which also = holiday parties!

I have done a roundup of some of my favourite holiday dresses from some popular (and inexpensive) stores!

This dress is from Dynamite and I have to say it is a little bit more expensive than their usual stuff but it is really gorgeous!

Guess has some extremely cute options as well and the ones that I love the best are not even the most expensive ones (which is a first for me)

And I have to say that Forever 21 wins in the most cute options! 

Oh my... how must we choose :( 

I am heading to my own holiday party with my work this weekend so I am pretty excited to get all dazzled up! I am going to be going out to try on all these dresses and see if I like any and when I do my weekly update you will get to see what I came out with :)

Love List: The 2nd Edition

I have this board on Pinterest titled "Wish List." Every time I come across cool products that I want to remember for when I actually have the money to buy them, I place them there. So that being said I thought I would share them because some of them are pretty neat! One Trip Grip Grocery Bag Holder

Anybody who lives in a condo/apartment building will appreciate this.. and even people who live in houses. You don't have to strain your hands whilst you struggle to carry all your bags so you don't have to make more than one trip! Totally genius.

Zenker Layer Cake Slicing Kit

Another product to make everyone's lives more simple. I can't even cut a bagel straight let alone slice a cake into nice layers so this really is a good tool to have around the house. I wouldn't even attempt a layer cake without one! lol

Batter Dispenser

Clean and controlled batter dispenser? I need not say more! 

 

Bra Case

The organizer in me loves this. I don't even know why I haven't bought myself this yet. Whenever I travel I would shove socks and stuff under my bra cups to protect the shape but this is just so much easier. 

 The Fader

This technically isn't actually a real product you can buy just yet but I guess they are currently producing it right now. Either way, how cool would this have been to have when in university. Selling your textbooks would be a breeze. You can highlight all you want and buy the time the semester is over, it will just fade. People are so clever!

Halloween Love List

Halloween is literally just around the corner (less than a week!!). I didn't get a chance to decorate for it this year (we have to save for the wedding of course) but I did come across some really neat stuff that I just needed to share!

This bowl would be great to hold candy in! I love it and wish it was available in Canada to buy! Wishing World Market would just ship to Canada already! You can find the bowl here.

This is actually a DIY. You basically just collect condiment bottles and spray paint them black. I plan to collect through the year and create this for next year! See the DIY plan here.

This is a really neat way to use a Pumpkin. Another fab idea by Martha Stewart. 

An excerpt from one of my favourite story lines! I will definitely be doing this when I have a doorstep to put it on haha. All you have to do is go to the thrift store and pick up the stockings and shoes and then stuff them with whatever!

Hot Iron Holder

So basically you just place this anywhere, over the sink, on the counter like showed in the picture and it holds the iron. I love this especially because there is never enough space on the bathroom counters as it is! And it will save you from getting burn marks on other pieces of furniture (speaking from experience here)

 Programmable Automatic Pet Feeder

When I saw this, I thought that this is the solution to all my problems! Well not all but definitely a issue in my household. See I definitely need to not free feed my cats because they are big snackers and just snack all throughout the day which is no good. The problem was when I wouldn't be home when it was feeding time. So this thing you can put in how much you want to have fed to them and what times to do it. Can't wait to get this one.

The Girl's Guide To Absolutely Everything

Apparently this is the "colossal cheat cheat for your post college years." I personally like these kind of books. Not necessarily self help but more of a funny version of it. I mean there's a whole page on how to handle spinach in your teeth....
