Blog Love: The Sweetist Digs

Coming back with another chapter of my blog love, or blog reel as other bloggers like to call it...

Gemma's blog is all about doing projects around her house. What is great is that she has a bungalow but still makes it her work for her and her little family. She also has her own Etsy store and for those local to Ottawa, a decor rental company specializing in vintage stuff. I wish it was closer to me!

Here is a little snapshot of one of her latest posts (plus her neat blog design)

Blog Love: House Pretty

Before I start, I originally had this post for yesterday and another post for today but I've been kind of preoccupied with other stuff so I will try to do better with the rest of the week and my schedule but if not... I promise it will be made up next week :)

House Pretty is another blog I would like to feature. Amelia is from Nova Scotia and her blog is basically a documentation of her journey to turn "an ugly house into a pretty home."

If you are like me and into more simplistic and realistic home design, then you should definitely take a look. I love reading her posts. She always has the most creative ideas!

Blog Love: First Home Dreams

The biggest thing I love about First Home Dreams is that it is a local (to me) blog. I love finding good blogs that are around me because when they share ideas, I know that I can find them and you just basically feel a better sense of community with them.

Ashley started out with this blog to document a restoration of her first house which happened to be an old farmhouse (the type I adore). Like a lot of people, she fell out of love with her home and has moved on to another one which is still an old farmhouse. So she basically takes you on the journey of restoring her house on her blog.

Ashley isn't a full time blogger and blogs a little more sporadically than a lot of the other ones I am going to show you. If you love old architecture but don't want to be having to check up every day with the blog... you should try out reading hers.

Blog Love: IHeart Organizing

This is another post sharing a blog that I absolutely love. Like I said in my last one, I plan on sharing all the blogs that I read so that you have a chance to discover more of the blog land as well. None of these bloggers have asked me to do this or are paying me advertising to do this (although maybe I should ask ;))

IHeart Organizing is also one of the first blogs that I found. Jen is a Mom of 3 boys and still manages to keep her house looking amazing. She is pretty inspirational and I love her posts and all her neat ideas to organize. Take a second to check her blog out by clicking the picture below and all you need to do is click on her house tour tab to see what I'm talking about!

I'll be honest with you. Right now things are a bit of a stand still because we are planning the shower and we of course are moving in October so I don't have much to post about. I promise as soon as the shower is over I will have a slew of things to share in terms of all the DIY that is being done for it. I really want to post about the planning of a shower because when we researched it, there wasn't much to be found.

Also, once we move, I will be in full swing of home decor so that being said, don't worry, I have more engaging posts coming your way. I do hope you enjoy these posts featuring the blogs that I love though. To me, this is like sharing a book that I just read = D

Blog Love

For a while I've been meaning to feature the blogs that I follow. I like to read blogs and I follow quite a few of them. I plan to feature each one over time. Today I will be featuring:

If you frequent on Pinterest, you may have seen this floating around a few times:

This blog was the first blog that I discovered and was really part of the inspiration to me creating my own blog. I had followed hers for a while and a few others and then decided to just do it.

She has the coolest layout:

And she is always coming up with the cutest outfit mood boards for her little girl who is one of the cutest babies I have ever seen. She has tons of ideas and advise and gives you real life, no bull experiences. Here is one of her more recent outfit boards. You'll have to go to her bog to see where you can buy this stuff.
